Charcoal barbecues and rotisseries: Can I put wood logs or lava stones in them?

Unfortunately, wood logs and lava stones cannot be used in our barbecues or rotisseries.

Why not?
Our products have been designed to be used with charcoal and are only resistant to the heat generated by this combustion method.

Using lava stones on a gas barbecue, would require the product be constructed differently, with an additional grid/floor to accommodate them.

Also, the wood logs will make flames, and create much more heat on the walls. In the long run, this may cause the paint to be damaged or even come off in flakes.

Charcoal gives off much less heat because it is placed in a pile in the middle of the barbecue; it burns and is better suited for grilling.
