Everything you need to know about the warranty and after-sales service
At sweeek, we want you to get the most out of your products. Here is everything you need to know about your warranties and what to do if you encounter a problem.
1. How do I report a problem or fault ?
The procedure for making a complaint is simple and centralised :
- The right thing to do : use our contact form (or go to the "My Account" section if you purchased on a marketplace).
- Required evidence : your request must be accompanied by photos or videos clearly showing the defect. This allows us to make a quick and accurate diagnosis.
Good to know : in accordance with our terms and conditions, we will cover the cost of repairing or replacing the product. However, indirect losses (such as days off work for delivery, temporary loss of use, or waiting costs) are not covered.
2. How does the Legal Guarantee of Conformity work ?
All our products are covered by a 2-year Legal Guarantee of Conformity.
What happens in the event of a proven defect ?
In accordance with the law, we always give priority to bringing your product into conformity.
Priority 1: repair (sending spare parts) or replacement of the product.
Priority 2 : refund will only be given if repair or replacement is impossible or too costly. In this case, we can arrange for your product to be returned (please make sure you keep the packaging boxes).
Did you know ?
If we replace a part : your product's warranty is extended by 6 months after the repair.
If we replace the entire product with a new one : a new 2-year statutory warranty starts from scratch.
3. What is NOT covered by the warranty ? (Exclusions)
The warranty covers manufacturing defects, but does not cover damage related to the product's lifespan or external events. Here are some common exclusions :
🌩️ External and climatic causes : damage caused by wind, storms, hail, snow, or flooding. In this case, we invite you to contact your home insurance provider.
🛠️ Assembly error or misuse : breakages due to assembly that does not comply with the instructions or inappropriate use (e.g. sitting on a table, professional use of a domestic product).
🧹 Lack of maintenance : mould or damage due to poor storage (e.g. damp winter storage) or lack of protection.
⏳ Normal wear and tear : gradual discolouration of fabrics in the sun, natural greying of wood or normal wear and tear of parts are not defects.
🌊 Specific environment : premature corrosion or discolouration if the product is installed less than 20 km from the coast (salty air) without suitable protection.
4. My product is no longer under warranty, what should I do ?
Don't panic, we won't let you down !
Spare parts : even if the legal warranty has expired, you can contact us via the contact form to request a quote for the necessary replacement parts (subject to availability).
