There are signs of mould on my garden shed
The green marks appear as a result of the protective treatment, this is not mould, so no need to worry. We use paints and oils applied to the surface of the dry wood. The oil and paint effectively protect the surface of the wood from the sunlight, while the durability of the colour depends on the weather conditions it's exposed to.
Wood naturally becomes grey over time and is sensitive to weather conditions. Rest assured, prior to delivery, we store the products in a dry, ventilated and weatherproof storage areas.
There are black marks or true mould
Traces of mould can be removed by washing or wiping the affected areas with vinegar, alcohol or chlorine.
Any areas that have been treated for mould/stains, should be treated afterwards with protective products. This defect does not negatively affect the wood or its durability.
My wooden product is starting to crack
After the first few uses of this type of furniture, some cracks may appear. This is a normal result of the use of this type of wood, which is a living material, and as such, its appearance may change over time. However, this does not affect the robustness of your garden shed, nor its quality. Most likely these cracks will not increase in size over time unless they appear in the joints.
